C. Bradley Lyman
"Brad" Lyman joined Cornish & Carey Commercial in November 1980, after having begun his real estate career (and being the Top Rookie Performer) with CB Commercial in June 1979. He was the top producer for Cornish & Carey for all but two years (finishing second in each of those years) from 1981 through 1988, when he was appointed executive vice president.
During his 24-year commercial real estate career, Brad has been involved in approximately $3.8 billion of lease transactions and approximately $140 million in sales transactions. The Association of South Bay Brokers named him to its Hall of Fame in 1993. Brad has been, and continues to be, involved in representing many large corporations in Silicon Valley, most notably Apple Computer, Varian, Xerox Corporation, etc., and law firms, Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe, Morrison & Foerster, McDermott, Will and Emery and Baker & McKenzie. In addition, he devotes much time to working with owners of many office and research & development buildings in the Mountain View/Palo Alto/Menlo Park area.
Prior to working in commercial real estate, Brad was the director of advertising/promotion for the distributor of Adidas products for the 13 western states. Prior to that, Brad played one year of professional football for the Houston Oilers before retiring due to a knee injury.
Brad is a 1972 graduate of UCLA. He is married, has three children and is very active in the community.
